Boardman
Boardman is a census-designated place in Boardman Township, Mahoning County, Ohio, just south of Youngstown, and is one of two major retail hubs in the greater Youngstown area. A large, sprawling suburb, it is a busy community composed of many chain restaurants and national retailers.
As of the 2010 census, there were 37,215 people, 15,955 households, and 10,211 families residing in Boardman.
Boardman abuts one of the Youngstown area's most popular attractions, Mill Creek Park. Within the park grounds, there is an 11-acre rose garden, several small waterfalls, marshlands, Lanterman's Mill, where grain is ground daily, and a 36-hole public golf course.
